How Does It Work?

Our Neck and Décolleté Serum with Lupine Peptides took 12 months from initiating the product to testing and submitting the final formula we loved and knew had the very best effect on our menopause skin.

We researched and selected the very best natural ingredients to be the foundation of this serum to improve the appearance, texture and quality of our menopause skin. So, let’s talk about the ingredients.

The jewel of this serum is Grape Seed Oil. This beautiful, light oil has many benefits including:

• It has a mild astringent effect; ideal for menopause skin
• It tightens and tones the skin
• It easily penetrates; so will not leave your skin feeling sticky
• It keeps menopause skin well moisturised
• It is also rich in vitamin E and linoleic acid
• It locks moisture into the skin

We carefully blended Grape Seed Oil with Organic Pomegranate Seed Oil.

Organic pomegranate oil is rich in punicic acid (omega-5), a rare essential fatty acid with several benefits for the skin. Omega-5 is a natural antioxidant that protects menopause skin from premature ageing, promotes regeneration of the epidermis and stimulates collagen production to keep skin looking smooth, firm and youthful. Studies suggest that omega-5 can be used on sun-damaged skin as a repairing and rejuvenating treatment, though it should not be used as an SPF. It is also the only known botanical source of punicic acid.

As well as omega-5, pure pomegranate oil also contains ellagic acid. This is a natural phenol antioxidant that can protect and brighten the skin.

As with all our products, we believe in only using premium ingredients and we haven’t stopped with this serum.

We added Cranberry Seed Oil too. Cranberry seed oil is rich in tocotrienols and tocopherols which are the two groups of molecules that make up Vitamin E as well as other important antioxidants. Studies have found that this oil contains the highest amount of tocotrienols than that found in any other vegetable oil. Omega 3, 6, and 9 essential fatty acids, not found in any other oil, are also unique to cranberry seed oil. It is rich in Vitamin A. Because cranberry seed oil penetrates the skin easily, it is highly nourishing and moisturising, leaving a light, non-greasy feeling.

The active ingredients include Liftonin. This helps to revitalise menopause skin, giving a flawless, radiant complexion with even texture. It is excellent for aging and crepey skin, and also suitable for acne prone skin and skin that needs a boost. Liftonin has been combined with Squalane (made from olives). Squalane softens and improves the elasticity of our menopause skin. It has an identical structure to the sebum that is naturally found in our skin, it sinks in very fast and prevents moisture loss.

The serum has been fragrances using Mandarin and Sandalwood essential oils.

Mandarin essential oil is anti-nausea, relaxant, sedative and slightly hypnotic. It moderates the central nervous system and reduces insomnia as well as anxiety. Mandarin essence fights against dyspepsia and gastralgia. (It also fights effectively sleep disorders in children as well as skin ageing).

Sandalwood contains antioxidants that help maintain the buoyancy and structure of the skin cells. It also reduces dryness and replenishes the moisture in skin, increasing elasticity.
