How Does It Work

Let us indulge you with some details of why we have chosen the ingredients we have used to formulate this absolute gem of a night cream.

• Coffee arabica (Seed) Oil is highly moisturising helping to soothe and repair irritated, red and dry skin, and it helps to protect the skin from harsh weather. A good choice for inclusion in anti-aging formulas, it is rich in the Polyphenol Chlorogenic Acid. Chlorogenic Acid is a powerful anti-oxidant providing free radical scavenging properties.
• As the perfect pairing partner we have added Garcinia (Kokum) Indica butter which is an excellent moisturiser for mature and ageing skin. The texture is non greasy and is absorbed into the skin very quickly. It improves the skin’s barrier for natural hydration without feeling sticky, greasy or heavy. As an emollient, it softens the skin.
• A lesser known oil Cucurbita (Pumpkin) pepo seed oil is rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Zinc and the precious omegas: Omega 3 and Omega 6: also known as essential fatty acids (EFAs). It also contains an abundance of phytosterol which is well known for a positive effect against high cholesterol.
• Limnanthes (Meadowfoam) alba seed oil contains over 98% long-chain fatty acids, meadowfoam seed oil is prized for applications which require a moisturising and rejuvenating benefit for the skin. A useful ally in formulations where we need to nourish the skin and outer epidermis.
• The beautiful Rosa (Rosehip) canina oil has been expertly blended to improve the appearance of acne scarring. It is also known as a potent anti-aging treatment to help reduce fine lines. A rich source of vitamin A (in the form of retinol) plus Omega 6 and Omega 3 essential fatty acids (EFAs), rosehip oil is light, non greasy and good for scar tissue, stretch marks, damaged and dry skin.
• The ideal companion, Rubus (Raspberry) seed oil which is extraordinarily high in Omega-3 and Omega 6 fatty acids is a superb anti-oxidant. It contains 83% essential fatty acids. Its high level of Vitamin E is known to be give it an important role in skin repair and conditioning. Raspberry Oil is known especially for its prevention of gingivitis, rashes, eczema and other skin lesions. Raspberry seed oil is emollient, lubricating, conditioning, creates a lipid barrier providing protection to the skin and provides moisture retention for the skin.
• Liftonin: has been carefully blended to revitalise the skin, giving a flawless, radiant complexion with even texture. It is excellent for aging and crepey skin, and the tannic acid from oak is astringent which is excellent for oily skin and acne prone skin. The astringent effect also gives a cosmetic lifting effect resulting in a smoother and brighter skin appearance.
