Our award winning fragrance free, Sea Buckthorn Joyous Eye Serum has been specifically targeted to reduce the  fine lines that appear around our delicate eye area.

BUT first let us tell you about Sea Buckthorn and why we love it so much. Sea Buckthorn is a very spiny shrub, native to sand dunes along the east coast of England, but planted in other areas to help stabilise dune systems. It forms dense thickets with thorny twigs and, although it has small green flowers, is most noticeable in the autumn when it displays an abundance of bright orange berries.

Sea Buckthorn oil is a very rich source of vitamins and minerals, especially in vitamins A, C, E, K all of which function together to protect our skin’s integrity and promote its renewal. It also contains considerable amounts of iron, calcium, magnesium, potassium, copper, zinc and other bio active compounds. The compounds appear promising in preventing damage from UV rays.

It increases our body’s immune-system and can prevent vitamin A deficiency in the body. It also has antibacterial properties and inhibits the growth of staphylococci and other bacteria.

It has been carefully blended with Watermelon Seed oil, Chia Seed oil, Blackcurrant Seed oil, Borage oil and Plum Kernel oil. All of these oils have wonderful properties for our skin, nourishing it and hydrating it to improve collagen production and retain moisture to leave the skin around our eyes feeling hydrated, refreshed and restored.

The active ingredient in this product is Co-enzyme Q10, a powerful combination of antioxidants to help protect the skin from free radical damage e.g. pollution. We have combined this with Vitamin E to improve its overall efficacy to help reduce the appearance of fine lines.
